Les Filles du calvaire Gallery is delighted to present a new series by the Flemish artist Katrien de Blauwer from November 3 to December 20, 2023. For her third solo exhibition, the artist explores a certain auteur cinema, from which she draws the genesis of her new creations.
Katrien de Blauwer, known as a "photographer without a camera," uses images from old magazines and newspapers to shape her narratives. With her intimacy and sensitivity, she delves into the images of others, laden with memories and carrying her own recollections, to tell their stories.
